This place has a great can food rotation system. FILO (First In, Last Out). In fact I am adding on to the top of my house, and I am going to build some of these into closets.

Wouldn't a "First in, first out" system be better for rotation?
You can wash it down with a cool glass of water, or you can have it inserted rectally--your choice.

But you WILL be taking the Red pill.

That is what it is. The first can you put in and the last one you take out. I know, it is a stupid name. But it is a well built system that works very well. They come in small shelf systems to a full standing uinti that you can put inside a wall or just mount in a closet. They are adjustable for different can sizes too. The big units hold a couple hundred cans. They aren't cheap, but it would make rotation a no brainer.

Don't forget to make sure the floor is up to the task of taking that weight on the second floor. Wouldn't be good to be a "Stupid News" item: "Man killed by storage food. Film at 11."

I"m adding on to my house, and the downstairs bedroom is becoming my "man cave" and the walk in closet in this room is becoming my survival storage area. So, something like this would be on the cement floor at my house.

But your right about the weight. I never gave that much thought. Be a bummer to survive the end of the world, only to have your food stash collapse down on you and kill you.
